Study Analyzes the Camera Features of the Most Popular Social Media Among Gen Z

In photography, the camera is the main tool for take the image. The development of technology makes cameras easy to use. Through a smartphone, one can take pictures and then save or share them. Various social media applications provide camera features and editing features before uploading. This research conducts an analysis study of social media camera features that are most widely and frequently used by Generation Z Indonesians. The analysis study will begin with data collection through distributing questionnaires to 187 respondents. The number of respondents is obtained from the sample calculation using the Lameshow formula.
From the results of data collection, the 2 most popular social media will be taken to be observed regarding their camera features. From the results of observations, researchers will analyze each original photo and photo results that have used filters from social media, in order to determine the file size produced and also the use of camera sensors that affect image quality. This research aims to provide knowledge related to the selection of camera media by considering the size of photo files and the quality of digital photos to be stored in memory or to be uploaded.
