Abstract

Sebuah media yang dapat menampilkan informasi dengan ringkas diperlukan dalam penyajian informasi yang efektif dan efisien. Informasi hasil laporan penjualan Raharja Internet Cafe kini dapat dengan mudah diakses oleh top management dan staff melalui buku besar. Namun, proses penyajian informasi dengan buku besar masih menggunakan tabel, sehingga tidak selaras dengan perkembangan teknologi saat ini. Dalam penelitian ini, akan dijabarkan 4 (empat) metode yang digunakan untuk mengatasi 4 (empat) permasalahan, serta 1 (satu) solusi yaitu diterapkannya viewboard dengan grafik Highcharts. Keunggulan dari viewboard Raharja Internet Cafe adalah dapat diakses melalui website dan mobile, serta keunggulan lainnya yaitu meminimalisir penggunaan kertas, sehingga dapat membantu pekerjaan staff dalam mendata laporan. Dengan diterapkannya grafik sebagai media penyaji informasi pada viewboard Raharja Internet Cafe, menyebabkan top management dan karyawan dapat mengetahui perihal laporan penjualan dengan lebih mudah. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan grafik Highcharts mampu meningkatkan kualitas dan mengatasi permasalahan yang terdapat pada Raharja Internet Cafe.

Abstract

 A media that can display information concisely is needed in the presentation of effective and efficient information. Raharja Internet Cafe’s sales report information now can be easily accessed by top management and staff through the ledger. However, the process of presenting information with ledgers is still using tables, which is not in line with the current technological developments. In this study, 4 (four) methods are used to overcome 4 (four) problems, and 1 (one) solution by applying a viewboard with Highcharts charts. The advantage of Raharja Internet Cafe’s viewboard is it can be accessed through websites and mobile, and another advantage is to minimize paper usage, so that it can help staff in recording reports. With the application of charts as a medium for presenting information in Raharja Internet Cafe’s viewboard, it causes the top management and staff to easily find out about the sales reports. Thus, it can be concluded that the use of Highcharts charts is able to improve the quality and overcome the problems in Raharja Internet Cafe.
