KOMPARASI EVALUASI HEURISTIC MENGGUNAKAN METODE HEEG DENGAN METODE PHEG PADA GAME EDUKASI
Abstract
Intisari

Abstract
One effect of creating game is how to display content in a game that will give a quite impact to the game users. A game is considered as beneficial if it contains education and knowledge that encourage users with load of curiosity. To create a game with attractive quality, a process of design is required. One of the instruments to examine designing process is Heuristic testing.
The most common testing used is with HE (Heuristic Evaluation) basis. HE is a method of testing with Evaluation List that is used to evaluate an application being built. The PHEG and HEEG methods are derivatives of HE to test the education-based games. This method is applied to test to what extent the quality of a game being built. To figure out to which extent the difference between these two methods is, a testing is performed with prototype game of RPG genre
Of the comparison performed with evaluator, the HEEG and PHEG methods showed 65% and 67% of results respectively. This testing result provides illustration and characteristic for the two methods in creating educational game, especially for RPG games.
